Compatibility Module Versions

There is an official compatibility module and a community built compatibility module.
The existing community build compatibility module was created before Hyvä was officially supported by the vendor.

For new projects we recommend using the officially supported compatibility module.

The community built compatibility module will not be removed, so existing projects using it will continue to work.
That said, we do not expect the community built module to be updated any more, now that the vendor is supporting Hyvä themselves.

Note: there also is a community built compatibility module for the WeltPixel Google Tag Manager module.

The official compatibility module provides full feature coverage.

Features covered by the legacy community compatibility module

• addToCart event in dataLayer (file to make compatible: WeltPixel/GA4/view/frontend/templates/gtm_footer.phtml)
• When weltpixel_ga4/general/product_click_tracking is enabled, productClick GTM event needs to be triggered for the products in category page, search page, crosssell product list, related product list and upsell product list.
• Include fix from Dan Giura @dangiura found in https://gitlab.hyva.io/hyva-themes/hyva-compat/magento2-weltpixel-google-tag-manager/-/issues/1
